A rich and chocolately Summer treat with some gut-happy probiotics in the 


1 cup organic yoghurt (I used Barambah Organics with vanilla bean. You can buy good quality vanilla here)

1/4 cup (or to your liking) pure Grade B maple syrup

1 cup organic pure cocoa powder (Organic Times is my fave)

1 large organic banana, peeled

Add more or less of the yoghurt and cocoa to find the balance of the two flavours you prefer.

Handy items to have

  • Stick blender (I've used this one for years)

  • Silicon spatula

  • Ice block moulds (this is the one I used for this recipe)


  1. Combine all ingredients into the stick blender jug and blitz on high to remove all lumps and chunks

  2. Pour into the ice block moulds and set for a few hours in the freezer

  3. Run hot water around the edges of the mould to loosen the ice blocks to be able to remove them easily

  4. Easy as that!
